Both Islands of Pemba and Unguja have PADI Diving centres but Pemba has the deepest diving sites.

SWIMMING WITH DOLPHINS

Mnemba Island in the North coast and Kizimkazi village in the southern coast host the numerous Bottle-nosed and Hump-backed Dolphis.

Swimming wit these wonderful and polite creatures is one of unforgettable experience one should not miss in Zanzibar.

SWIMMING WITH TURTLES

Baraka Turtles Aquarium is the rescue centre for the injured Turtles caught by Fishermens’ net. Once they are healed and reached a certain of life, they bring them back to nature.

Visitors are allowed to feed and swim with them. Don’t miss it while in Zanzibar.

PRISON ISLAND

This is a prison that was never used. It was built in 1892 as a detention for disobedient Slaves but was never used because of abolishment of slave business by the British in 1894.

It became a quarantine station for Yellow Fever victims from Zanzibar and the Mainland until early 19th Century, but now is a host of The Giant Tortoises introduced in the 19th Century from Seychelles and snorkeling, swimming and watersports.

It is 30minutes by Boat from Stone Town.

STONE TOWN CITY TOUR

This is the World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO since 2001. Stone Town got its name because of the houses built with Coral stones and Limestone with Arabian and Indian styles and more 200 different door designs from Arab and Indian combination.

You will be able to visit; Slave Markets, House of Wonders, Churches, Mosques, Kelele Square, Forodhani Gardens, Darajani Markets, Slave Masters houses and graves, Freddie Mercury Museum among others.

NAKUPENDA SANDBANK (MEANS I LOVE YOU IN SWAHILI)

This is probably the most beautiful patch of white sand surrounded by turquoise water near stone town. The best place to snorkel while enjoying a feast of barbequed seafood, the best place for Honeymooners’ and wedding events.

This tour is sometimes combined with a visit to Prison Island.

SPICE FARM TOUR

Get to know why Zanzibar is referred as a “Spice Island” by visiting spices farm. You will be able to smell, taste, eat different species of Tropical Fruits grown in Zanzibar.

If you have time, learn and cook your own food using spices from the farm and also by buying from the farmers you will be supporting them.

JOZANI FOREST/CHWAKA NATIONAL PARK

This is the only National Park in Zanzibar with an area of 50 square Kilometers (19 square Miles). It was established as a conservation area in 1960, and now part of Jozani – Chwaka National park and has become an important Sanctuary for one of the rarest primates in Africa – Kirk’s Red Colobus Monkeys (Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkey).

Red Colobus Monkey, Blue Monkey, Butterfly, Zanzibar, Birds, Duikers and Mangrove forest are among the best attractions in Jozani.

SAFARI BLUE – THE HIGHLIGHT OF ZANZIBAR

The adventure begins from Fumba town – South West Coast towards Kwale Island using a traditional Wooden Dhow.

Sometimes one can see Dolphins on the way to or back. This is a full day tour with a tropical fruit picnic and a feast of seafood comprising of Lobster, Calamari, Prawns, Tuna fish and Octopus served with French fries and rice on coconut sauce. We also care for those who don’t eat seafood or meat.
