Day 1: Arrival In Zanzibar – Nungwi

Arrive at Zanzibar airport where you will be met by our driver and be taken to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Dolphin Tour and Mnemba Island Snorkeling

We will depart from the hotel in Nungwi/Matemwe at 0900am for Swimming with Dolphins followed by snorkeling at Mnemba Island. Beach relaxation in the evening witnessing Sunset.

Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Nungwi.

Day 3: Baraka Turtle Aquarium, The Rock Restaurant – Paje

After breakfast (0900am) we will visit Baraka Turtle Aquarium to swim with Sea Turtles (swimming with them is optional). At 12pm we will drive to PAJE via The Rock Restaurant (Optional and Lunch is not included).

Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Paje.

Day 4: Beach Relaxation at Paje

Day 6: Kuza Caves

After Break leave Paje for Jambiani to visit this historical site in Zanzibar (optional and not included in the price).

Day 7: Covid Test – Blue Safari – Stone Town

We will leave Paje at 0730am for your COVID test at Lumumba Hospital in Stone town followed by Blue safari tour till 5pm.

We leave stone town at 0900am to Fumba village where our sailing boat will be awaiting to take us to Kwale Island for BLUE WATER SAFARI – The highlight of Zanzibar.

We will sail in a beautiful traditional wooden dhow, watch Dolphins (if we have a chance of seeing them) at play, snorkel over the reefs of Menai Bay conservation area, feast on a swahili influenced seafood buffet that include Fish on coconut source, Rice, French Fries, Calamari, Lobster, Prawns, tropical fruits etc. We will visit a Baobab tree believed to be more than 500years old before sailing back to Fumba village and drive to Stone Town for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Jozani Forest & Spice Farm Tour

After the City tour around( 0900AM) we will drive to Spice farm (20-30mins) to experience the rare tropical fruits, spices and other rare species of plants that grow in Zanzibar. You will have a chance to eat, smell and taste different fruits and spices to learn why Zanzibar is called a spice Island.

You can have lunch in the farm prepared by local women group there.

In the afternoon we will have a chance to walk in the only Zanzibar tropical forest to see the rare species of Monkeys (Red Colobus Monkey) the specie found nowhere else in the world but only in Zanzibar.

Day 9: Prison Island & Nakupenda Sandbank

At 0900am you will be taken from your hotel for a full day at Prison Island and Nakupenda (I love you) Sandbank. Prison Island was formerly owned by an Arab and was privately used as a place of detention for disobedient slaves. It was built in 1893 as a central prison for Zanzibar, hence the name “PRISON ISLAND”. You will be able to see Giant Tortoises, Dik dik, Peacock, Prison Chamber, Mangrove forest and perhaps swim and snorkel if interested. In the early afternoon you will move to Nakupenda Island and sandbank (30 minutes) by boat.

This is the ideal place near stone town where you can relax, swim, and snorkel while enjoying your BBQ of seafood, soft and hard drinks, tropical fruits under the shade of built umbrellas. Lunch will be ready at 1pm. In the evening you will be brought at the shores for an hour break before joining a sunset cruise at 5-7pm (optional).

Day 10: Stone Town Tour – Dar Es Salaam

After breakfast (0900am), we will have a chance to visit Town Markets, old slave markets, National Museum, High court building, Old German Consulate, Africa House (former English Club), Tippu Tip House and Grave, Kele kele square, Old British Consulate, Orphanage home, Old Fort, Forodhani Gardens, House of Wonders, Sultan Palace, Dr. Livingstone House, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Old Mosques, Freddie Mercury House among others.

At your own planned time drive to Zanzibar airport or a ferry to Dar Es Salaam.

 Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar

 Day 2: Prison Island – Bawe and Nakupenda Sandbank

 At 0900am you will be taken from your hotel for a full day at Prison Island and Nakupenda (I love you) Sandbank. Day 5: Kendwa/Nungwi Beach Relaxation

 Free day is spent in the West Coast, where you can make a dive, Parasailing, Surf kite, Fishing etc. Overnight will be spent at Kendwa Rocks Hotel or Aman Beach Bungalows

Day 6: Nungwi/Kendwa – Jozani Forest – Paje

 After breakfast (0900am) we will leave for Jozani Forest. At 09:00 am we will drive to Jozani forest where we will have our breakfast/brunch in the hotel in the park. We will have another 2-3hrs of exploring the only National Park in Zanzibar to see Jozani Black and white Colobus monkey, Mangrove forest walk, butterfly Centre (if interested). In the afternoon we will drive to Michamvi/PAJE beach (East Coast) for a beach break including visiting

The Rock Restaurant for Lunch/Dinner or just for a drink. Dinner and overnight in Michamvi/Paje Beach

Day 7: Dolphin Tour – Michamvi/Paje

Another adventurous day to swim with Dolphins. Depart from your hotel at 06:00 am to Kizimkazi (southern coast) village; board your motorized boat to find playful Dolphins out in the open waters. Swim with then if you can or otherwise watch them from the boat. Kizimkazi is the most popular Dolphin spotting location where you can see both BOTTLE – NOSED and HUMPBACK DOLPHINS. Return tour hotel for lunch and beach relaxation. Dinner and overnight in Paje.

Day 8: Free Day – Airport

Today is a free day, enjoy your breakfast and have relaxation. Depending on your departure flight you will be escorted to Airport ready for departing.

After breakfast we will visit Baraka Turtle Aquarium for swimming with Turtles till 11:30m where we will drive to Paje via The Rock Restaurant for Lunch (Lunch Not Included).

Free day to relax on the beach.

DAY 3: MNEMBA ISLAND DOLPHIN TOUR, SWIMMING WITH SEA TURTLES

Early breakfast and leave for Mnemba Island Dolphin tour. You will have a chance to swim with Dolphins, snorkeling, swimming, and sunbathing and picnic tropical fruits and soft drinks before sailing back to the shores.

In the afternoon drive to Baraka’s Turtles Aquarium where you will have a chance to swim with Sea Turtles if you would like to. Beach relaxation at the North – West coast at Kendwa waiting for the most magnificent sunset cruise (optional).

Day 4: Beach, Spice Farms, Dsm/Airport

Morning at leisure at the beach followed by a transfer to stone town via spice farms. You will have a chance to eat, smell and taste different fruits and spices to learn why Zanzibar is called a spice Island. Lunch will be in the farm to taste spicy food prepared by local women group there.

At 0900am you will be taken from your hotel for 2 -3HRS to Prison Island tour.

Prison Island was formerly owned by an Arab and was privately used as a place of detention for disobedient slaves. It was built in 1893 as a central prison for Zanzibar, hence the name “PRISON ISLAND”.

You will be able to see Giant Tortoises, Dik dik, Peacock, Prison Chambers, Mangrove forest and perhaps swim and snorkel if interested. In the early afternoon you will move to Stone Town for lunch before heading to spice farms for 2-3hrs tour.

You will have a chance to eat, smell and taste different fruits and spices to learn why Zanzibar is called a spice Island. At 4pm you will explore Stone Town City.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival In Zanzibar – Nungwi

Arrive at Zanzibar airport where you will be met by our driver and be taken to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Dolphin Tour and Mnemba Island Snorkeling

We will depart from the hotel in Nungwi/Matemwe at 0900am for Swimming with Dolphins followed by snorkeling at Mnemba Island. Beach relaxation in the evening witnessing Sunset.

Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Nungwi.

Day 3: Baraka Turtle Aquarium, The Rock Restaurant – Paje

After breakfast (0900am) we will visit Baraka Turtle Aquarium to swim with Sea Turtles (swimming with them is optional). At 12pm we will drive to PAJE via The Rock Restaurant (Optional and Lunch is not included).

Day 6: Kuza Caves

After Break leave Paje for Jambiani to visit this historical site in Zanzibar (optional and not included in the price).

Day 7: Covid Test – Blue Safari – Stone Town

We will leave Paje at 0730am for your COVID test at Lumumba Hospital in Stone town followed by Blue safari tour till 5pm.

We leave stone town at 0900am to Fumba village where our sailing boat will be awaiting to take us to Kwale Island for BLUE WATER SAFARI – The highlight of Zanzibar.

We will sail in a beautiful traditional wooden dhow, watch Dolphins (if we have a chance of seeing them) at play, snorkel over the reefs of Menai Bay conservation area, feast on a swahili influenced seafood buffet that include Fish on coconut source, Rice, French Fries, Calamari, Lobster, Prawns, tropical fruits etc. We will visit a Baobab tree believed to be more than 500years old before sailing back to Fumba village and drive to Stone Town for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Jozani Forest & Spice Farm Tour

After the City tour around( 0900AM) we will drive to Spice farm (20-30mins) to experience the rare tropical fruits, spices and other rare species of plants that grow in Zanzibar. You will have a chance to eat, smell and taste different fruits and spices to learn why Zanzibar is called a spice Island.

You can have lunch in the farm prepared by local women group there.

In the afternoon we will have a chance to walk in the only Zanzibar tropical forest to see the rare species of Monkeys (Red Colobus Monkey) the specie found nowhere else in the world but only in Zanzibar.

Day 9: Prison Island & Nakupenda Sandbank

At 0900am you will be taken from your hotel for a full day at Prison Island and Nakupenda (I love you) Sandbank. Prison Island was formerly owned by an Arab and was privately used as a place of detention for disobedient slaves. It was built in 1893 as a central prison for Zanzibar, hence the name “PRISON ISLAND”. You will be able to see Giant Tortoises, Dik dik, Peacock, Prison Chamber, Mangrove forest and perhaps swim and snorkel if interested. In the early afternoon you will move to Nakupenda Island and sandbank (30 minutes) by boat.

This is the ideal place near stone town where you can relax, swim, and snorkel while enjoying your BBQ of seafood, soft and hard drinks, tropical fruits under the shade of built umbrellas. Lunch will be ready at 1pm. In the evening you will be brought at the shores for an hour break before joining a sunset cruise at 5-7pm (optional).

Day 10: Stone Town Tour – Dar Es Salaam

After breakfast (0900am), we will have a chance to visit Town Markets, old slave markets, National Museum, High court building, Old German Consulate, Africa House (former English Club), Tippu Tip House and Grave, Kele kele square, Old British Consulate, Orphanage home, Old Fort, Forodhani Gardens, House of Wonders, Sultan Palace, Dr. Livingstone House, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Old Mosques, Freddie Mercury House among others.

At your own planned time drive to Zanzibar airport or a ferry to Dar Es Salaam.
