Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar – Spice Farm – Nungwi

Arrival in Zanzibar airport where you will be met with our driver and drive to Stone Town for Breakfast and payment before driving to Nungwi via spice farm.

Experience the rare tropical fruits, spices and other rare species of plants that grow in Zanzibar. You will have a chance to eat, smell and taste different fruits and spices to learn why Zanzibar is called a spice Island.

Day 2: Dolphin Tour and Mnemba Island Snorkeling

We will depart from the hotel in Nungwi/Matemwe at 09:00am for Swimming with Dolphins followed by snorkeling at Mnemba Island. Beach relaxation in the evening witnessing Sunset.

Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Nungwi. (In the Same Hotel or similar)

Day 3: Baraka Turtle Aquarium, The Rock Restaurant – Paje

After breakfast (0900am) we will visit Baraka Turtle Aquarium to swim with Sea Turtles (swimming with them is optional).

At 12pm we will drive to PAJE via The Rock Restaurant (Optional and Lunch is not included).

Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Paje.

Day 4: Beach Relaxation in Paje

You have a free day to relax on the beautiful beaches of Paje.

Day 5: Free Day Beach Relaxation In Paje

Day 6: Jambiani

Free day to relax in Jambiani.

Day 7: Jambiani

Visit Kuza cave for cultural experience in this historical site in Zanzibar

Day 8: Jozani Forest – Jambiani

We will leave Jambiani after breakfast for 3hrs walking tour in Jozani forest. The only place in the world where you can see Red Colobus Monkey and different species of wildlife.

Day 9: Blue Safari – Stone Town

We leave Jambiani and heading to Fumba village where our sailing boat will be awaiting to take us to Kwale Island for blue water safari – The highlight of Zanzibar. We will sail in a beautiful traditional wooden dhow, watch Dolphins (if we have a chance of seeing them) at play, snorkel over the reefs of Menai Bay conservation area, feast on a swahili influenced seafood buffet that include Fish on coconut source, Rice, French Fries, Calamari, Lobster, Prawns, tropical fruits etc.

We will visit a Baobab tree believed to be more than 500years old before sailing back to Fumba village and drive to Stone Town for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Prison Island – Stone Town

After breakfast (0800am) we will drive to Spice farm (20-30mins) to experience the rare tropical fruits, spices and other rare species of plants that grow in Zanzibar. You will have a chance to eat, smell and taste different fruits and spices to learn why Zanzibar is called a spice Island.

Return to Stone Town at 12 for lunch or take lunch in the farm followed by a – 2- 3hrs Prison Island Tour.

Prison Island was formerly owned by an Arab and was privately used as a place of detention for disobedient slaves. It was built in 1893 as a central prison for Zanzibar, hence the name “PRISON ISLAND”. You will be able to see Giant Tortoises, Dik dik, Peacock, Prison Chamber, Mangrove forest and perhaps swim and snorkel if interest.

Return to Stone town for sunset and dinner at Forodhani Gardens (Optional and not included in the price).

Day 11: Stone Town Tour

we will have a chance to visit Town Markets, old slave markets, National Museum, High court building, Old German Consulate, Africa House (former English Club), Tippu Tip House and Grave, Kele kele square, Old British Consulate, Orphanage home, Old Fort, Forodhani Gardens, House of Wonders, Sultan Palace, Dr. Livingstone House, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Old Mosques, Freddie Mercury House among others.

In the evening we will drive to the airport for the flight back home.
